Coach Rhodes is a Basketball Skills Trainer who has helped thousands of athletes since 2023. During this time he has helped lots of athletes achieve their dreams of playing basketball at the next level. Currently working with NBA Skills Trainer Johnny Stephene this is just the beginning of what is to come!

Small town kid with BIG dreams…

Coach Rhodes grew up in a small town outside of Peoria, IL, but this didn’t stop him from reaching his ultimate goal of playing D1 basketball and a chance to play professionally.

In High School Coach Rhodes was a multi year all-conference player, player of the year, all-state, and more.

Attending Kirkwood Community College for two years Coach Rhodes was able to take his game to a whole new level. He became an all-region player his freshmen season and then became an Unanimous First Team ALL-AMERICAN while winning a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP during his sophomore season. During this season Coach Rhodes led the country in assist to turnover ratio, was top ten in free throw percentage, and top ten in three point percentage. All while leading his team in PPG.

Coach Rhodes final two years of playing was at the University of Northern Iowa. Coach Rhodes had a solid junior season and ended his senior season with a couple twenty point games and leading his team in PPG and APG in the final ten games of his career. All while shooting over 90% from the free throw line and over 40% from three point range.

Coach Rhodes had opportunities to play professional basketball, but decided to come back to his hometown and coach high school basketball for six years. He now trains athletes from all ages and looks forward to developing athletes on and off the court.
